Too many ads, and the game itself is hard without paying real money
A lot a lot a lot of ads
Those who complain about the difficulties of the game clearly have neglected to put much thought into it. Yes the A.I. typically has better cards, but, if you put a little thought into how to use your own you will go far. As for the constant ads, just turn off the wifi and it wont be a problem.
I took over the whole world without buying anything with money or spending a huge amount of time it just takes a little strategy and effort to win.
This game is so fun but so hard! The ai players are really good and almost impossible to beat. And there are so many adds! You do two things and there is an ad. I wish there was a difficulty level that would be awesome. Please read! Thank you for your time.
I dont mind the ads in free games but amount of ads in this one is just seriously waaaay to much! To watch a video ad every 5 seconds or after each turn or tap on a button?? No way! U guys just ruined a good looking and addictive game by putting to much ads! Seriously!
I love the game, great gameplay and nearly addictive, but there are an obscene amount of video ads that you are forced to watch. I understand its a free app, and the devs have to make money somehow, but it seems like everytime I check a bew screen im watching a 45 second sim city ad. This is very frustrating as im spending more time watching ads than playing this great game. I would buy the ad free version, but I cannot truly experience the game in the state it is in currently. Great game though, if you dont mind watching hours of ads.
Every time you want a faction to visit,it becomes a giant ad sellout, and it tarnishes a unique concept with ads of other, more better mobile games
Dictator for me has never been too hard. Its all about finding that right balance and determining what you should focus on. I always say yes to the people and either army or opposition, which eventually gets the army, people and sometimes opposition on my side. Rack up money and when a war is on the way try to get other factions on your side. The problem i have with this game is that is takes a while to properly set up a country so world domination will take awhile but i guess thats fine. As for ads, turn on airplane mode.
To say that the amount of advertisements in this game are absurd is truthfully an understatement. You cant go 1 minute into the game or cant make any progress without watching a 15-30 second advertisement. I understand that this is how the application is funded, but Ive never encountered another game with so many advertisements before. For the sake of the game, take at least some out!!
Talk about a time-killer. Sometimes when I tell myself Im just going to play for 5-10 mins, Ill look up and 45 mins have gone by. I love playing with the decisions, I try to stick w/ the people & army but its too much fun saying “yes” to my mafia. It is true that your enemy has better cards during a war, but heres my advice based on what helped me. Just study your cards & their abilities. Once you get them memorized and know what card works well against other cards youll start winning. Also knowing when to attack the enemy dictator vs. the enemy cards is helpful as well.
The first dictator had three categories and you had to satisfy them all to be in power as long as you can. It was beautiful in its simplicity. It was addictive as hell and endlessly replayable. It was one of my favorite games on the App Store. So when I saw a sequel on the top 100 I had to get it immediately, thinking it would be something like the original. However its much too complicated and I couldnt even get myself to get that far into it before deleting. It was a massive disappointment. Instead of a brilliant strategy game like the first one, it fell into the modern iOS game tropes of maintaining something while collecting coins and pay to play aspects. And for combat against other countries, the thing I was most excited about, is ruined by a stupid card combat system that takes all the fun out of conquering. You might like it if youre into over complicated war games, but this shouldnt be called dictator 2, its unrecognizable.
The game is very fun, but not so fun that Im willing to sit through 30 seconds of ads every 5 minutes. Deleted.
I never right reviews but this game has so much potential if I didnt spend more time watching ads then actually playing. I played for about 20 minutes and there was an ad about every 5 times I touched the screen. Its terrible. I will gladly change to 5 stars after an update to make the ads less frequent
Stupidest game. When I tried to delete it. My screen froze and after 20 min my phone turned off. This happend at least 10 times. I dont want your stupid game stuck on my phone
Other countries can just swoop in and destroy you easily with over powered cards when you expand, even with good strategy, you need cards to match theirs which are painstaking to get. Along with that you get too quickly drained of money so its hard to keep the treasury balanced.
This game isnt hard, but I found that the whole mechanics of the new "cards" thing wasnt explained well and I kept losing. Youre not really told how to build your army, just to choose cards and somehow grasp the rest of the object of the game. Not to mention that you get 15 sec ads for what seems like every 30 sec of game play, which is endlessly annoying as theres no way to skip them. It would be a fun, addicting app if these two major aspects were fixed.
I understand that you can buy the version with no ads but I dont even get a chance to fall in love with the game cause I hate it after seeing 10 ads in 5 seconds...you guys are Extremly greedy people
The first day I got the game it was great, but the next morning every time I clicked in something, an ad would pull up. Like a 30 sec ad that I cant skip and they only do that so you can buy no ads! Woah! They had the idea of making everyone mad so they would buy their stupid no ad card! What has this world turned into... :(
uh theres way to many ads, and it just makes the game not enjoyable.
